Fundraising events are an important element in every Catholic school across the nation and for the communities of Southern Tier Catholic School and Archbishop Walsh Academy. These events draw us together and celebrate the choice of a private, Catholic education for our children.
When we work together to raise money and support the mission of the schools, we are stronger as a community and our children benefit directly from our efforts. We thank all the volunteers, alumni, parents and friends who work tirelessly to make these events a success and promote them throughout the community.
The Southern Tier Catholic School & Archbishop Walsh Academy, Fall Auction & Fundraiser is an online auction and raffle. Ticket holders will have entry into an exclusive online auction and the opportunity to bid on fabulous auction items. Ticket holders will also be entered into the Grand Prize Drawing for $15,000 and only 900 tickets will be sold!
The St. Patrick’s Day Raffle and Party is Archbishop Walsh’s fun winter-time party.
Each ticket is automatically entered into all of the cash drawings throughout the evening, with prizes totaling over $30,000. Each ticket also admits two people into the party – generally held the last Saturday in March – where there is food, beer, wine, a DJ and a good time. All proceeds benefit the schools and the Walsh Sports Booster Club.
From humble beginnings in 1986, the St. Patrick’s Day Raffle has grown into a community-wide event that raises significant funds for both schools.
Nearly 30 years later, the St. Patrick’s Day Raffle and Party continues to benefit students attending both Walsh and STCS and we look forward to once again welcoming the community to our schools for this fun event.
