Archbishop Walsh Academy is the region's only private,Catholic high school that is also a designated International Baccalaureate World School authorized to offer the IB Diploma Programme for highly motivated students who seek the challenge of a well-rounded liberal arts and international curriculum. Educating young adults for more than 50 years, Walsh draws students from western New York and northern Pennsylvania, and is supported by both the Diocese of Buffalo, N.Y. and the diocese of Erie, Pa. Walsh prides itself on a challenging and rigorous academic program, which develops 21st Century skills and prepares students for the rigors of college and professional life. Small classes are taught by a dedicated faculty emphasizing a supportive school community. We offer an education that infuses Christian virtues into the curricula and one that is open to students of all faiths and backgrounds. Students must complete 15 hours of internal community service and 15 hours of community service outside the school each school year and we are proud that our students have earned an average of $262,000 per year in college scholarships over the past five years.
