Eagles Gala Auction
The Southern Tier Catholic School (STCS) & Archbishop Walsh Academy (Walsh) Eagles Gala Auction is a formal dinner and auction benefit held every year. More than 200 attendees will enjoy a gourmet meal as well as the opportunity to bid on fabulous silent and live auction items. Proceeds from the event are dedicated to meeting the financial and special project needs of our students.
This year the Eagles Gala Auction took place on Saturday, September 29 from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the school. The theme for the event was Passport to Europe. Entry into the event included dinner by Dina's of Ellicottville, beer, wine and the opportunity to bid on some fantastic items - including a two-week stay in Le Havre, France, a one-week stay in San Sebastian, Spain, spa packages, golf equipment, sports memorabilia and much more.
Thank you! Two words that do not begin to cover our deep gratitude for your participation in our Eagles Gala Auction - Passport to Europe. Whether you purchased an ad, donated an item for bidding, became a lead sponsor of the event, volunteered and/or attended the gala evening - because of your participation, we were able to welcome a sold-out crowd of 250 people to our schools for the auction and raise a net amount of $95,000!
Next year's auction will take place on Saturday, October 19, 2013 and we once again expect a sold-out venue. So keep an eye on our website - www.stcswalsh.org for future details and make your reservations early - you don't want to miss out on this unique Olean event that happens only once a year!
